We have now entered the season of Pentecost. The church calendar names and numbers the “Sundays after Pentecost” all the way until Advent in November. We’ll keep you up to date, here, on our Sunday themes. For the remainder of May, our Sunday 11:00 AM services will focus on:
May 22: The Holy and Mysterious Trinity
May 29: Faith, Spirituality, and Mental Health Sunday
In June, we will shift to what many in the church call “ordinary time,” in which we reflect on growing in wisdom and faith. Our June schedule includes:
June 5: A Great Prophet Has Risen (1 Kings 17:17-24, Psalm 30, and Luke 7:11-17)
June 12: Grace for Sin (Galatians 2:15-21, Psalm 32, and Luke 7:36-8:3)
June 19: Liberating the Oppressed (Isaiah 65:1-9, Psalm 22, and Luke 8:26-39)
June 26: Don’t Look Back (1 Kings 19:15-16, 19-21, Psalm 16, and Luke 9:51-62).
