When all the hymns have been sung and said,
And the resurrection story is through,
What path shall we take, where shall we be led?
Shall we rest content with what we know,
Or seek to learn and understand more,
Shall we let our minds and hearts grow,
Or close ourselves off to what's in store?
Let's use the Easter season to reflect,
On what it means to love and care,
For those who suffer and those who reject,
The gifts that life and faith can share.
Let's reach out to all with open hands,
And build a world that justly stands.
